Has anyone created a script to notify someone via email that a cluster node
failed over to the other node?

We have e2k7.. .not sure if I could set it up like this..

MOM/System Center Ops Mgr. can do this; so can products like ELM Enterprise
Manager from TNT Software
(http://www.tntsoftware.com/products/Common_ELM/ClusterServer.aspx).

Look into using WMI subscriptions that can fire a script that can send a
message...

So do MOM/System Center and ELM Enterprise Manager. I wasn't trying to say
that is all they do; they also do much much more.

You can also setup a generic application/script resource in your cluster to
do this. See MSKB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/260527 for an example how
to do this.

After or During CCR Failover When we do a CCR Failover our Outlook clients will randomly be prompted for Sometime it asks and sometime it does not. This did not happen in out test environment so I don't believe this is as planned by Microsoft. Did anybody see this hap
