When opening Contacts Distribution List folder with the Outlook Mailbox
opened while logging into domain network ( Exchange2003/Outlook2003), user
receives that message.

"Can't open this item. There is not enough memory available on the Microsoft
Exchange Server computer to perform the operation. Conatact your
administrator"

User can open any other individual contact entries and Conatacts DL folders
except for one with this problem

Contact folder size including sub folders counts up to 492 KB.

User's admin assitance confirmed that she was adding more contact entries to
her bosses' this particular Contacts DL folder before the problem started
from her Outlook Mailbox at work ( not via OWA ).

Please share the fix. Thx in advance.

This is an Outlook problem, not an Exchange problem. There is a size limit
to the personal distribution list. The workaround is to create a few
smaller lists and make them members of the main list.

Thank you Ed.
I was able to open them from OWA. I then segmented into smaller lists. That
worked. Smile
