I have a mailbox with the alias: ASTBP with an address of
ASTBP@astbp.ab.....

I'm trying to grant send-as with this command:

Add-ADPermission -identity ASTBP -ExtendedRights Send-as -user Records

I get this error:

Add-ADPermission : The operation could not be performed because 'ASTBP'
matches multiple entries.
At line:1 char:17

Any clue why this happens or how to get around? Our domain name is also
ASTBP, could that be the cause?

Thanks in advance,
B

Did you try using the UPN or "Domain\User" for the identity parameter?
