Good morning!

Exchange 2007 SP1. We have enabled and configured the Active Sync policy.
Nothing fancy and nothing secure. Still, users are having issues getting
the attachment (read: not getting them at all). AntiSpam is disabled (was
enabled and working just fine, but then we put in Postini and disabled
Anti-Spam),

No Edge Server in this single box environment.

Outside of looking in Postini where to start looking?

Thanks,

Cary

Starting in Postini is precisely the right way to go, I'd say.

Lanwench,

Kinda what I was thinking...nothing on the EXCH2007 box is doing anything
that has not already been examined.

Thanks,

Cary

Thanks,

Cary

Then Postini's got nothing to do with it. Smile

When you say they aren't getting the attachments, does that mean that
there's no link to click to download the rest of the message on the
next send/receive? Attachments are a lot bigger than the default .5KB
of message that a PPC/SmartPhone will download. AFAIK there's nothing
in Exchange that would remove an attachment sent to a mobile device.

Rich,

Here comes the best answer in the world....I do not know. I do no deal with
this client...my colleagues asked me to assist.

I will ask them and post back in the AM. Thanks.

Cary

PS. Since they end users are indeed receiving the attachment in their Inbox
I would agree that Postini is not the culprit.

Rich,

I spoke with them a bit ago and was told that there is no link for the rest
of the message but that things are okay and are working. They suspect that
they need to recreate the profile on the phone?

Thanks,

Cary

Not sure what they mean by that. That the values in the ActiveSync
configuration are incorrect? That's the place where you'd fill in the
blanks.
