I have a server that will allow a sync to occur from the device to the
server (I can make a contact on the phone and it will show in my server) but
will not sync from the server to the phone. I am not using any cables or
activesync software on the computer. THIS IS STRICTLY VIA A EAS CONNECTION.
If I delete the connection to my server and configure the phone to connect
to a friend exchange account all works perfect. there is no error logs or
codes on the device or the server the problem is that nothing is being
transferred from the server to the device.
I have set dozens of these devices up and have experience back to the MIS
days (pre Exchange 2k3) and have not come across this issue. Hopefully
someone can help I am at a loss. This is strange.
Thanks
Kris

So, this happening only to nly your mailbox or user account on that device?
You say you had another user on the same server setup the device with his
account and it worked? Can you setup your account on his device and does it
work or do you get the same result?

Sorry I was a bit unclear, the device will not actually show or get any
data from any account from the server. I can send data up to the server.
At first I thought it was a device problem but a friend of mine also runs a
SBS 2003 box and has the same device, he configured my device to connect to
his server with his account and everything worked perfect.

Turn on logging in your IIS Logs, go ahead and perfrom sync then look at the
logs to see if it shows anything. Check your AV and Firewall to make sure
its not stripping the attachments.

I am not talking about attachments. Nothing is showing up in the contacts
list or in the inbox, etc. If you have a device I can create an account for
you to test with. I get nothing from the server but if I create a contact
or send an email from the device it goes back up to the server.
