I can't do this, can I?
I can't belive I bought this (incorrectly) assuming it would work on other
versions of Exchange......
Please tell me I don't have to make the long walk to my boss's office and
remind him that I'm an idiot.

It looks like it's Exchange 2007 only:

Though it looks as if, if you bought it, you'll still get _something_ for
the money:

Q. What versions of Exchange Server does Forefront Security for
Exchange Server support?
A. Forefront Security for Exchange Server supports Exchange Server
2007.

For customers with Exchange Server 2003 or Exchange 2000 Server,
purchasing Forefront Security for Exchange Server will provide downgrade
rights to Antigen for Exchange, which supports these earlier versions of
Exchange Server.
