We have a NT 4.0 domain and a 2000 ADS native mode domain running with a
trust between them. The NT 4.0 domain has an Exchange 5.5 organization which
has a lot of sites in it. Complete migration to exchange 2000 is not an
option. Does anyone have a good straight forward instruction on how to load
exchange 2000 in the ADS domain and then have it join the 5.5 organization
within it's own site but also to be able to show the 5.5 global address list
and of course have mail flow between these systems. I have loaded 2000 and
the ADC instructions I have seen never are all that clear. I have also heard
that ADC can really screw up exchange 5.5 directories if it is not set up
correctly and / or removed correctly so any tips on this as well would be
appreciated. I know I am writing a novel but this is an area where there
seems to be little information regarding setting up the mixed exchange org
with an exchange 5.5 setup.
