1. Can a server that is an SCR target, also be a Hub transport?
2. Can a server that is an SCR target, also be a host of Public folder?
3. I assume that is an SCR target has to have the Mailbox role. Is that
correct?

Hi,

An SCR Target has the passive mailbox role, It can also only have the
mailbox role. Also an SCR target cannot support Public Folders.

Have a read of: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb676502.aspx
for more information.

Oliver

Bharat,

I must admit, I haven't implented SCR yet. However I have read up on it
quite alot.

TechNet seems to dicate the SCR targets should be stand alone or clustered
mailbox role servers:

It does appear their wording is a little muddled though.

If it works on a multi role Server, that is pretty cool.

Yes. SCR by itself doesn't use clustering, so it can co-exist with other
server roles on both the source and the target provided they are
non-clustered.
