I'm trying to set up KMS in Exchange 2000 to use 3DES
encryption but the in the Algorithims tab of the
Encryption Configuration Properties the only option I have
are 3DES for North America and RC2-40 for 'Other'. Since
I am in the UK my system comes under the heading
of 'Other'. As I understood the current situation the ban
had been lifted for the export of the high encryption. I
have installed the High Encryption patch for Windows 2000
and Service Pack 3 for Exchange 2000. Any ideas anyone?

Regards.

Iain

I have installed Windows 2000 High Encryption patch, W2K
Service Pack 4, and Exchange 2000 Service Pack 3. Just a
thought, could this be happening because I'm using an
Evaluation Copy of Exchange 2000 on a test bed system?

Regards.
