I have Windows 2003 Enterprise running Exchange with one
Nic, I tried to install ISA for SMTP filtering, but it
requires 2 NICs. One internal and One external.
How can I change this current configuration to the one
ISA requires.?

If it were me I'd put ISA on a separate box entirely.
AFAIK ISA requires 2 NICs.

Hello,

Thanks for your post.

Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't recommend you deploy ISA and Exchange on
the same machine. For most typical deployments, we recommend that you
install Exchange on a secure network, behind an ISA Server computer
(Exchange is not on the same computer as ISA). In this way, you can take
full advantage of the ISA Server functionality.

For more information about SMTP Filter, you may refer to the following
article:
320703 HOW TO: Configure the SMTP Filter in ISA Server to Block SMTP E-mail
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=320703

Also, here are articles that guide you how to deploy ISA 2000 and Exchange
2000 together:

Server

Hope this helps!

Thanks & Regards
